When in need, the cap can even be stored by connecting it on the end of the pen barrel to prevent misplacing the cap. Great Pen. Would have given it a five but when I received it the cap was dented at the edge. Also, the cap clip is designed with a gap, so it will not stay secured in a shirt or jacket pocket.
The Dango Ace Pen arrived with a broken rubber washer ring that allows the secure attachment of the pen shell cover - friction fit cap with a satisfying suction to seal the pen tip - no need to screw or unscrew. When in need, the cap can even be stored by connecting it on the end of the pen barrel to prevent misplacing the cap. Excellent tech and repair replacement of defective rubber washer as sent attached to a replacement cap. Though I'm not sure about the longevity of the very thin rubber washer - Friction fit cap. The Dango Ace Pen is a great pen and design apart from the rubber very thin washer.
Thought it was the one that would fit the pen insert I have that goes with one of the wallets I bought from dango awhile back. Might buy the mini pen down the road when I can.
I have several pens, this is one of my favorite. I like the weight, the feel, the small size and the quality of the black ink Schmidt 5888-M that goes perfectly with it. I am getting the same pen in black soon. I find the price very reasonable.
Love the feel, look of the Ace pen! My tinkering self removed the pocket clip slightly bent it and polished the sides to my preferences. And it’s made in the USA!!!

This is a great pen to keep in your front pocket of your pants/jeans. It writes so smoothly and doesn’t smear (for you lefties out there). Glad I grabbed 2 when they were on sale recently! I’ll definitely keep them in my EDC rotation going forward!!
You can feel the quality! Feels great in the hand and writing with it is as smooth as butter. I've purchased at least over a dozen Dango products over the years and none of them have disappointed. The build and quality are top notch! I'm a customer for life.
A great edc pen. The only caveat is if you carry the pen in your shirt pocket the clip is spread out from the body.
If you carry it clipped to a bag this shouldn't be an issue.
Great pen. Not too heavy and writes very smoothly. Friction cap is a bonus. Love this pen. Picked it up during the Spring sale for $29. Very happy with this purchase.
